Welcome to the new and improved Catawba County Register Of Deeds remote access site.   In the interests of better serving the citizens of Catawba County and the other users of our office, we have enhanced the website to create a more efficient site that can be used by more of our users, including those users using Apple products and other Non-Windows operating systems.

Please note that effective December 1, 2006, we have added additional search and print features to the site.  Please see the recent developments and enhancements portion of the site (bottom right of this page) for additional details.

In order to accomplish these goals, we have changed the imaging controls for the site.   The controls are software that allow for the viewing and printing of the digitized documents and plats.  These changes require all Windows users to download these new ActiveX controls the first time they use the new site.  This download will occur automatically the first time the user attempts to view an image.  All users, including those users that have used the previous site, will need to download the control. To begin searching, you will need to acknowledge the legal disclaimer below.

In addition to the new imaging controls, we have added many other features that are explained in more detail in the “Recent Developments and Enhancements” section to the right.
